Member of Parliament Irene Mathyssen speaks to more than 500 Londoners who came out to the "Canadians Against Proroguing Parliament" Rally in London Ontario. More than 60 communities across Canada, as well as in a number of locations internationally, held rallies in opposition to the Harper Prorogation, calling on the Prime Minister to end the lockout of MPs and to get parliament back to work!

Londoners of all political stripes attend the rally, and speakers representing the opposition parties were joined by labour leaders and community activists addressed the growing concern that Canadian democracy is being dismantled by the Conservative Government.
