With the current minority parliament in session, we all know there could be an election call at any time. So London West New Democrats are actively preparing for the next Federal campaign.

We have an Election Planning Committee up and running which will look after such pre-election tasks as preparing strategies, ordering signs and supplies, recruiting volunteers and fund-raising. We will also be seeking candidates to run for the nomination. Our last candidate, Peter Ferguson, is eager to build on his last run and will be again seeking the nomination. The Riding Association is also meeting with other qualified candidates who would make excellent candidates and Members of Parliament.

Of course, we will be relying on our members (and their families and friends) to serve as volunteers. We encourage everyone to help as much as possible before the election so we are that much better prepared and can focus on electing the first NDP MP in London West!
